Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I make an appointment?

You can send an email or call the centre on 01 8533865 (for Fairview & Dublin areas) or 085 192 3528  (for Skerries & North Co. Dublin) where your call will be dealt with confidentially. If necessary, please leave a message on our voice mail and one of our therapists will phone you back within 24 hours. Alternatively, if you click on either the Therapists – Fairview tab or the Therapists – Skerries tab, and scroll down, you can see information and contact details for all of the individual therapists.

In crisis situations it will normally be possible to have an initial consultation within 24 hours.

How often will I go to therapy and how long will the sessions be?

Each weekly session will last approx 50 mins. How long you choose to continue attending depends on a number of factors, such as the nature of the issue which brings you to therapy.

An initial agreement of six to ten sessions is usually suggested, which can then be reviewed by both client and therapist as the therapy progresses.

What are your opening hours?

Appointments are generally available Monday to Saturday inclusive, from 8.am to 9.pm by arrangement.

How much will it cost?

The standard cost is €70 per session. However, we can also offer a sliding scale, with rates negotiable subject to the client’s personal circumstances. This may be discussed with the therapist who meets you for the initial consultation.

What are the arrangements for payment?

The fee is due at the end of each session, and is payable directly to the therapist.

What happens if I have to cancel an appointment?

We request that 48 hours notice is given for cancellations, and we will try to re-schedule where possible, otherwise the fee is payable.
